About QuiltMap
QuiltMap is a free national directory built for quilters. We map every quilt shop, guild, retreat center, longarm quilting service, and upcoming event we can find — all in one searchable, browsable, OpenStreetMap-powered site.
What's in the directory
- 10,165 quilt shops across all 50 states
- 1,237 quilt guilds and community quilting groups
- 321 longarm quilting services
- 443 retreat centers dedicated to quilting getaways
- 289 quilt shows and festivals for 2026
- 75 fabric manufacturers — US, UK, Japan, Canada, and more
Why we built it
Quilters plan shop-hop road trips, search for local guilds to join, and look for longarm services by word of mouth or by piecing together multiple websites. QuiltMap puts the whole community on one map. We connect shops to the brands they carry so you can find exactly the fabrics you love, and we highlight annual retreats, shows, and guild meetings so you can plan ahead.
Where the data comes from
Listings are compiled from a vast array of public data, including business listings and manufacturer retailer lists. We cross-check and deduplicate entries to give you one unified view.
Business owners can submit listings, corrections, or claim existing listings at /submit.
Open to the community
QuiltMap is free to use. We'll never charge quilters to search or shops to be listed. If the site is useful to you, tell a fellow quilter about it.
